Dave Burgoyne Trio plays melodic, head-nodding jazz, part of the buzzing new wave of UK jazz music. Having played at some of the top venues and festivals throughout the UK and Europe, this is Dave Burgoyne’s breakout project of his own compositions; music influenced as much by jazz as it is hip-hop and R&B. The trio tonight features two of the North’s most in demand musicians in Gavin Barras and George Grundy, and plays Dave’s compositions, as well as inventive arrangements.
