Continuing her latin jazz fusion journey, Azhaar Saffar is back on the scene after being stranded on a Pacific beach during the pandemic! Reunited with her band Global Wave they will be debuting some exciting new compositions from the forthcoming album ‘Song of the Quetzal’ . The title track was composed on top of a mountain in Costa Rica the week the world went into Lockdown, after seeing the rare quetzal bird! Catch them live at Bristol’s ‘Canteen’ for the first gig of their return tour!
